1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CorkCrafter AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. You must be 21 years of age or older to use this service, as it involves wine-related content.

2. Description of Service

CorkCrafter AI provides an AI-powered wine cellar management platform, including Corky (our AI sommelier assistant), cellar tracking, social features, and bottle scanning.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password.
• One account per person.
• You must be 21 years of age or older.

4. Subscription Plans

• Founding Member pricing is grandfathered and locked in for the life of the subscription.
• Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.
• Cancel anytime through your account settings.
• No refunds on any subscription plan.

5. Billing and Cancellation

• Billing is processed securely by Stripe.
• Subscriptions auto-renew on your billing date.
• Cancel anytime — access continues until the end of your current billing period.
• No refunds and no partial-period credits.
• Founding Member pricing is locked in forever as long as your subscription remains active.
• If a Founding Member subscription lapses, the founding price cannot be reinstated.

6. Acceptable Use

Users may not:

• Share account credentials.
• Attempt to reverse engineer the platform.
• Use the service for commercial resale.
• Upload harmful or illegal content.
• Abuse the AI system (Corky).

7. AI Disclaimer

Corky is an AI assistant. Wine recommendations are provided for entertainment and informational purposes only. CorkCrafter AI is not responsible for purchasing decisions made based on Corky's advice.

8. Intellectual Property

CorkCrafter AI, Corky, and all associated branding are the property of CorkCrafter AI. User-generated content (tasting notes, ratings) remains the property of the user.

9. Limitation of Liability

CorkCrafter AI is provided "as is." We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes will be resolved in California courts.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms with 30 days' notice via email to registered users.
